As mentioned in another comment already: what about a Quick Start telling people where they can get what they want?

They make great Quick start/Reference cards for other Novell products like Groupwise and they look very nice and are very informative and usefull.

Location of key configuration files and logs like apache, kernel, displaymanager, hostname etc.

Maybe also some “external” things. Like URLs for news.o.o, planetsuse.org, software.opensuse.org/search, http://opensuse-community.org, help.opensuse.org etc.
