Um, *more* “American militaristic imagery”? What other “American militaristic imagery” does openSUSE have?
You know what really bugs me about that poster? Why is he looking off to the side? Why not directly at us? He seems kind of uninterested or maybe he’s looking for more people because he’s greedy or something. If that guy really did want me, he would be looking right at me.
Heck, I understand that animals with their eyes at the side of their head need to turn their head sideways to look at right something, but that doesn’t explain why his pupil is facing me!
Ok, off the rant box; it’s an otherwise great picture.
Everything is just a quick hack, nothing new painted – and there was just no Geeko template with the head looking forward.
@Stephen: Actually our darling cousins (the Americans) actually stole it from us – the polite British. Originally it had Lord Kitchener in the image not Uncle Sam
