Most of the time, it’s probably not necessary to get down to the command line to install or manage packages, unless you actually want to do it that way, in openSUSE 11.0.

But, if you need or want to do the CLI thing, this tutorial over on openSUSE Tutorials is quite good. Really nice to see the site shaping up, not to mention being tickled pink green that there are folks working on a openSUSE-specific tutorial site. Lots of excitement around the openSUSE community these days… Thanks to Sontek for writing that one up!
